Personal | HDR Photography

So I have been experimenting with HDR Photography as of late.  For those of you who don't know what it is, I'll try to explain.

A camera uses its built in light meter to expose a scene properly.

This 'properly' exposed image gives us detail in the midtones, but not in the highlights or the shadows.
An underexposed image will allow us to see more details in the shadows.
An over exposed image will allow us to see more details in the highlights.

HDR Photography takes these three images (or more) and 'sandwiches' them together to make one single image, allowing us to see details in the midtones and shadows and highlights.  The effect usually is surreal, although a photographer can make as realistic as they like.

Here are some of the HDR images I have created.

Here is a site of a photographer that does great HDR work.  Check it out.

Thanks for looking.
