Wedding | Mattie Sue and Matt | Augusta GA

One of the aspects of wedding photography that I find so rewarding is being able to witness the happiness and joy shared between a couple and their family and friends.  Never has a group been more joyous than the family and friends of Mattie Sue and Matt.  This couple both have amazing families and equally amazing group of friends who all helped celebrate their union in Augusta, GA.

We started our day early at Riverfront Park at Hammond's Ferry along the Savannah River (SC side!)  Groups photos of of the bridal party were tons of fun with close friends and brothers and sisters and Mattie Sue and Matt's couple shots were so sweet!

After mid-morning break and cool off, the group made their way to The Good News Church for a lovely ceremony.  

The girls handmade their bouquets from green hydrangeas in the bride's mom's backyard!! Crafty ladies!!

Guests and friends of the church stayed in the hall for a light cake (cupcake!) and punch reception.  Check out the handmade book cupcake displays the couple put together!!

How sweet are these two owlies?!  

The couple departed from the Good New Church to reunite with family and close friends at the Be My Guest Banquet Hall where dinner was served, toasts were made and dances were had.  

And we were all entertained by Mattie Sue's two younger brothers personalized rap song tribute to their older sis and her new husband.  Talent!  Dancing and good times ensued and all enjoyed the celebration of Mattie Sue and Matt!!

The flower girl and her twin brother did a rendition of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' the could have rocked American Idol!!
