Couple Session | Lauren and Arron | Patriots Point | Charleston SC

The Spencers are Lauren and Arron, two really fantastic people that I have the pleasure of knowing for a few years now.  Lauren and Arron were married over 2 years ago and have traveled all over the globe only to settle back down in Charleston.  

Arron is a tennis coach at my alma mater, The College of Charleston which led them doing our shoot at The CofC Tennis Courts at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant.  We also did some shots at the new Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park - the new park and pier under the Ravenel Bridge.

First we, shot under the bridge where there were lots of fantastic lines and geometry.  I love incorporating fantastic architecture and environments into my portraits.  It always adds a sense of grandeur to the image.  And I loved editing these in black and white!  

On the tennis courts, I had fun working with the long shadows and backlight from the afternoon sun.  The sky was fantastically blue and the clouds perfect!  I loved all the diverse little spots we found around the courts!  What an awesome shoot!
