Wedding | Casey and Allen | Harborside East | Mt. Pleasant SC

Late April in Charleston may be one of the most beautiful moments in time.  Spring is in full swing and the summer heat has not quite arrived yet. The air is warm and fragrant, the sunsets later and the days longer.  And it was this perfect time that Casey and Allen chose their wedding date.

Harborside East, a new Charleston harbor-side venue, was the perfect location to experience the warm spring evening.  The ultra classy interior was softened slightly with warm touches of burlap and soft pink flowers.  They even added a in a pinch of southern charm in the sweetgrass flower bouquets and boutonnieres.

Casey was a classic beauty in her lace-up dress and stunning pearl pendant necklace.  Allen was simply handsome in his dapper gray suit.  They made a perfect match.

Guests soaked in the fantastic view of the harbor and bridge on the patio during the harbor-side ceremony then celebrated the rest of the evening under the warm glow of chandeliers and the setting sun.

The festivities even included a quick visit to the courthouse, a mock courthouse that is, for a few fun, fake, bride-and-groom-gone-bad arrest photos.  Love in handcuffs, all in the name of fun.    ;)

I knew this wedding was going to be fantastic when Casey and Allen told me their first dance song was 'Last Night on Earth' by Green Day (my most favorite adolescent band of all time!)  Oh and the song was so romantic!!  Who thought Green Day could be romantic?!  (Be sure to watch the slideshow at the end to hear the song!)

Biggest thanks to Casey and Allen for being so wonderful and fun to work with!  I am so happy I was able to celebrate such a special day with such a special couple!

Enjoy!!
